Teaching Melody/Harmony

Teaching this process allows students to conceptualize musical functions such as listening to music in a higher sense, being able to dictate higher musical perceptions and develop a love of music and all its wonder.

The Future of Sound

It is important to focus on a variety of musical styles, genres and periods. By studying a wide variety of music, you are able to determine what styles you prefer and would like to put emphasis on. For example, one studying with John would be required to play a classical and contemporary piece within the same practice time for the student to be exposed to a wide range of musical concepts.

We serve all in the greater Providence, Warwick, Woonsocket, Pawtucket, Attleboro, Fall River, New Bedford, Wareham, Falmouth, Hyannis areas.

John is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth  with his Bachelor's Degree in Music with a focus on music education and then pursued a Master's Degree at Bridgewater State University for music education. He is the full-time musician in residence at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in North Falmouth, Massachusetts.
